An early look into the PFL Championship in October Part II

Last week, we took a look at a few of the marquee matchups for the Professional Fighters League championship on Oct. 27. Now, we are wrapping up the final main event fights to fully preview the event.
Kayla Harrison vs. Taylor Guardado
Harrison is arguably the most captivating mixed martial artist in the world right now. The undefeated lightweight has been mowing through everyone she faces with authority. She is going to face a very green Guardado who is also 3-0 in the 2021 season.
Due to Harrison’s pure dominance, it is tough to see her losing at this point. It would be a huge upset if Harrison did not retain her PFL title.
Antonio Carlos Jr. vs. Marthin Hamlet
Due to the unexpected circumstances regarding Cezar Ferreira and an in-fight hamstring injury, Hamlet has punched his ticket to the finals against Carlos Jr. The Brazilian has been nearly perfect since leaving the UFC and joining PFL, so he is riding off momentum.
Hamlet is 2-1 this season and has not seen the same success as his opponent thus far. Look for both of these guys keeping distance and using the clinch to lead into takedowns. They can both hold their own on the ground, so this may be a sleeper pick for fight of the night.
Movlid Khaybulaev vs. Chris Wade
Khaybulaev proved to be the most dominant featherweight in the organization after defeating the former champ Lance Palmer earlier in the season and taking down the top point-scorer Brendan Loughnane in the playoffs.
Wade has been a true sleeper in this tournament, as he was a pretty significant underdog against Bubba Jenkins in the semifinals. Wade grabbed a clear, unanimous decision win and definitely proved that he belongs in the final.
