Errol Spence vs Manny Pacquiao?

After 14 months removed from the ropes, Errol Spence Jr put on an immaculate showcase against Danny Garcia. The fight between the two icons took place on December 5, 2020, and finished with Spence winning by unanimous decision. This battle raised the eyebrows of many boxing fans including fight-seeking legend Manny Pacquiao.
After the Garcia fight, Spence spoke on coming back from his car accident hiatus "It has been a dream of mine since coming back from my accident and I think I looked pretty good. I had a little ring rust in there but I shook off the cobwebs and I would love to be back in the summer.”
24 hours after the Spence-Garcia fight Kevin Lole of Yahoo Sports confirmed via Twitter that Pacquiao has his eyes set on Spence for a possible 2021 matchup. “Just spoke to Sean [Gibbons] of MP Promotions. He said Senator Manny Pacquiao said he was impressed and thought Spence looked good. Still has the fire to fight in 2021 and would like to take on Spence.”
Errol Spence has been on a tear since the beginning of his career. With a 27-0 (21KO) record and notable wins against fighters such as Shawn Porter, Danny Garcia, & Kell Brook. It is almost certain that Spence is ready for the giants of the Boxing World.
For the past two years, Manny Pacquiao has had one foot in the boxing scene and one foot in politics. But on February 10th Pacquiao confirmed via Twitter that in 2021 he will be entering the ropes again. “Training camp has begun. I'm ready to get back in the ring and to further add to my legacy in the sport of boxing. Big news coming soon.” The last time we saw Pacquiao in the ring he defeated the established Keith Thurman for the super welterweight championship.
According to Sean Gibbons Spence has recently convinced Pacquiao to set a date for the fight, while Pacquiao has been busy helping the Philippines.
